  • Political location in record is Beaverhead county, Montana. However, original lat/long plots 150 m inside adjacent Clark county, Idaho. Original coordinates were: lat/long NAD27 44-33-28N 111-41-18W (44.5578 -111.6883); UTM N4933840 E445331 Z12N; PLSS line# 1: Meridian- Montana Principal, TWNSHP 015 S, RNG 001 W, Sect 02, Sect_fract C N2. Recalculating the lat/long using WGS84 datum shifts the location to 44.55566 -111.6883, just inside Beaverhead county, but not centered on the workings. The center of the workings is at 44.5582 -111.69. The lat/long was changed to this location. The PLSS coordinates remain in agreement.
