Deposit OTERO, OTERO NOS. 1-4 SHOW COMMON BOUNDARY WITH TIP TOP-KISMET. THIS PROPERTY WAS LOCATED IN 1905 AND 1907 BY JOHN SHEPARD AND AND OTHERS; RELEASED BY ROY FLETCHER IN 1948 AND THEN PURCHASED IN 1950 AND IS INCLUDED INTO THE TIP TOP-KISMET CLAIM GROUP. MINING/DEVELOPMENT/EXPLORATION HAS OCCURRED ALONG BORDERS OF BOTH PROPERTIES, AS WELL AS THE MANHATTAN GOLD MINE (SUNDAY, WILD FOX, & GRAY FOX CLAIMS) ADJACENT AND TO THE SOUTH OF THE OTERO GROUP.
