Deposit MINE ASSUMED CLOSED. WILL NOT REOPEN IN THE NEAR FUTURE. LENGTH AND WIDTH OF ORE BODY CALCULATED FROM LEASE SIZE BY NEW MEXICO BUMINES. AT THIS TIME (1987) MINE IS SHUTDOWN. MISSISSIPPI CHEMICAL CORP. PURCHASED THE PROPERTY. NATIONAL POTASH CO. IS A 100% SUBSIDIARY. THERE ARE NO PLANS TO REOPEN THE MINE IN THE NEAR FUTURE. AS OF FEB. 1995 MINE IS STILL SHUTDOWN. MINE STATUS WILL BE CHANGED TO PAST PRODUCER.
