| Deposit | THE PITS ARE LOCATED IN AN AREA WITH NUME AILINGS AND TAILINGS PONDS. THEREFORE ANY ADDITIONAL MINING S NOT SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECT THE ENVIRONMENT. SEE USGS TOPO 7.5 M CONOWINGO DAM PA MD. 1970 SAMPLES OF THE DISSEMINATED ORE PRODUCED CONCENTRATES CONTAINING UP TO 51% CR2O3 AND 20 TO 21% FEO WITH SILICA BELOW 4%. THIS WOULD MAKE THE CR FE RATIO GREATER THAN 2:1 AND CLASSIFY THE ORE AS AL GRADE. DATE OF COMMENTS 1975. |
