  • IN ADDITION TO THE $0.04 MILLING COST, THERE IS A $148.34 SMELTING COST PER TONNE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF PRODUCT A. ILMENITE, ZIRCON AND MONAZITE ARE RECOVERED AND SOLD AS BY-PRODUCTS. THESE BY-PRODUCTS ARE STOCKPILED AT THE MINE SITE AND THE SALES ARE CONTROLLED BY THE MARKETING ARM OF THE MALAYSIA MINING CORPORATION.
