Comments on the geologic information

  • PELLETS OF FRANCOLITE ARE THE MAIN MINERAL PHASE IN THE VARSWATER OREBODY. LOCALLY, THE SECONDARY APATITE CEMENTATION HAS PRODUCED LENTICULAR ORE BODIES OF LITHIFIED PHOSPHATE ROCK UP TO 1M THICK. THE AVERAGE THICKNESS OF THE MINABLE SECTION, INCLUDING OTHER PHOSPHATE BEARING STRATA, IS 10M AVERAGING 10% P2O5.
