| Deposit | 18 CLAIMS STAKED IN 1969 BY TWEET. ASSESSMENT WORK 1970 AND 1971 CONSISTING OF GEOCHEMICAL SURVEYING, SAMPLING, DIAMOND DRILLING, AND GEOPHYSICAL PROFILING. BEDROCK IS PRE-ORD. SLATE, SCHIST, AND SCHISTOSE LIMESTONE (INTRUDED BY MAFIC ROCKS) IN THRUST-FAULT CONTACT W/YOUNGER PALEOZOIC CARBONATE ROCKS; INTRUDED BY GRANITIC STOCK, WHICH HORNFELSED ROCKS; FOLLOWED BY EPISODE OF MOVEMENT ON HIGH ANGLE FAULTS. ALTERED ZONE, WITH ANOMALOUS AMOUNTS OF MANY METALS OCCURS ON MIDNIGHT MOUNTAIN. DEPOSIT POSSIBLY RESIDUAL PLACER. |
