Comments on the geologic information

  • NUNATAK occurrence is located on the north face of a mostly screecovered nunatak composed mostly of andesite and basalt. Barite occurs in lenses. Samples collected contain up to 50% barite, 0.22% zinc, 0.035% copper, 0.37% lead, 19.36 ppm of silver, and 0.244 ppm of gold.
