Deposit SPORADIC PLACER GOLD MINING FROM ABOUT 1911 UNTIL AFTER WORLD WAR II. MOST OF VALLEY FILLED WITH GLACIAL DEPOSITS MAGNETITE IN CONCENTRATE (HOARE AND COBB). THROUGH WHICH STREAM HAS CUT INTO CRETACEOUS CLASTIC ROCKS.
