| Deposit | LOCATION IS OF ANVIL MINE SHAFT. PALMS MINE LIES 400 METERS EAST. THE KEEWEENAW AND MASSIE TRACTS OCCUPY S1/2S1/2SEC11T4 THE MINES OF THIS GROUP WERE WORKED BY SUB-LEVEL CAVING. AFT EXHAUSTION OF THE EUREKA-ASTEROID MINE IN 1950, THE ORE FROM GROUP WAS HOISTED THROUGH THE EUREKA SHAFT. GREATEST DEPTH=2 TOTAL PRODUCTION FROM THESE MINESFROM 1887-1950 WAS 18,581,8 OF SOFT, RED, BESSEMER AND NON-BESSEMER ORE. |
