Comments on the geologic information

  • THE DIMENSIONS OF THE ORE BODY IN THE GEOMETRY DATA SET ARE RELATED ONLY TO THE SCHEELEMITE AREA TUNGSTEN DEPOSIT, AND DO NOT CONSIDER OTHER SMALL TUNGSTEN SHOWINGS OR THE WHOLE IRON MOUNTAIN DEPOSIT.
  • FORMATION NAME FOR THE SKARN ROCK MASS AND FOR THE APLITE, RHYOLITE AND GRANITE WAS LEFT BLANK BECAUSE THESE ROCK MASSES ARE NOT GEOLOGIC FORMATIONS.

Comments on the production information

  • ACTUALLY THE IRON MOUNTAIN DEPOSITS WERE DISCOVERED IN 1880, TUNGSTEN IN THE SCHEELEMITE AREA WAS NOT FOUND UNTIL 1941. NO SIGNIFICANT PRODUCTION OF TUNGSTEN WAS RECORDED FOR THE IRON MOUNTAIN MINING DISTRICT TO DATE.

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • THE DATA IN THE QUANTITY MATRIX 1 WAS DERIVED FROM VARIOUS SOURCES OF INFORMATION: 1- U.S. BUREAU OF MINES RI 4035, 2- U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY BULL. 945-C, AND 3- PERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS WITH R.H. JAHNS, STANFORD UNIVERSITY, FEB. 1982 IN ADDITION TO THE LITTLE BERYLLIUM, THE ORE IS KNOWN TO CONTAIN MOLYBDENUM, BUT THE MOLYBDENUM PERCENT IS NOT SUFFICIENTLY DOCUMENTED. Q9C4 = Q1C1.
  • THE ORE IS KNOWN TO CONTAIN VERY LITTLE BERYLLIUM AND SOME MOLYBDENUM, BUT THE ASSAYS ARE NOT CLEARLY REPORTED.
