General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit REYNOLDS OWNS APPROXIMATELY 75 PERCENT OF THE RESOURCE AREA, WATER AND ELECTRICAL POWER ARE ALREADY ESTABLISHED AT THE MINE SITE. ADDITIONAL MAPS ARE ST. HELENS, CHAPMAN, TRENHOLM, TAINERS, CLATSKANI. THE AREA WAS AUGERED AND CORE DRILLED FROM 1945 TO 1970. THERE IS MINOR DEFORMATION BECAUSE OF LATERIZATION. MOST OF THE LATERIZATION TAKES PLACE ON THE LOWER PART OF THE DIP-SLOPE. TO SOME EXTENT THE LAND FORMS ARE A RESULT OF DEFORMATION AND THE ORE IS RELATED TO GEOMORPHOLOGY. ORE IS NOT CONTINUOUS FOR THE LENGTH AND WIDTH OF THE MINERALIZED ZONE. MATRIX GRADES AND TONNAGES ARE BASED ON WET TONNES. BAYER PLANT COSTS ARE THE BASIS FOR BENEFICIATION COST ANALYSIS. SOURCE OF PUBLISHED RESOURCES, HOOK, 1976.
