  • CASSITERITE FOUND IN ONE PROSPECT PIT AT HEAD OF SHEEPROCK C IN GREISEN ZONE (AS REPORTED BY GRIFFITTS IN A FIELD STUDY SHEEPROCK MTNS). ALSO CASSITERITE FOUND IN SMALL AMOUNTS STREAM BEDS OF MANY OF THE GULCHES ON THE WEST FLANK OF TH SHEEPROCK MTNS. SOURCE OF PLACER TIN BELIEVED TO BE GREISE AT CONTACT OF GRANITE WITH PRECAMBRIAN SLATES AND QUARTZIT TUNGSTEN AND BERYL ALSO FOUND IN GREISEN ZONES.
