Comments on other economic factors

  • UNDERGROUND MINING CAPACITY WILL INCREASE 100,000 MTPY IN 1983, TO 550,000, AND TO 600,000 IN 1984. THE METHOD OF MINING USED AT LADNER IS LONG HOLE AND OPEN STOPING. DILUTION IS 10%. THERE ARE THREE ADITS AT LADNER: AT 900, 820 WITH ANOTHER ACCESS LABELED "IDAHO ACCESS". IN ADDITION, THERE IS A CRUSHER DECLINE PORTAL JUST BELOW THE 820 ACCESS. (SEE MCKEE REPORT, P. 5-2.)
