Comments on the workings information

  • DISTANCE TO ADEQUATE POWER SOURCE EQUAL TO 144 KM IS AN ASSUMPTION.

Comments on other economic factors

  • THE MILL CAPACITY IS PROPOSED AS 4000 TONNES PER DAY AT 310 DAYS PER YEAR (SIMILAR TO MINE CAPACITY). BENEFICIATION INCLUDES, CRUSHING, GRINDING,"SEGREGATION", REGRINDING AND FLOTATION. SEGREGATION (TREATMENT OF REFRACTORY COPPER) WOULD CONSIST OF HEATING 10-MESH ORE TOGETHER WITH SALT (NACL) AND COKE IN CALCINERS TO PARTIALLY FREE THE CU-AG CONTENTS FOR SUBSEQUENT CONVENTIONAL FLOTATION.
  • THE CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS OF COPPER AND SILVER IN THE ORE FEED ARE UNKNOWN. THE ORE IS A MIX OF MANGANIFEROUS OXIDES TERMED "WAD" IN MINERALOGY. GANGUE MATERIAL INCLUDES IRON AND MANGANESE OXIDES AND ALSO SOME ANHYDRITE.
  • COVER INCLUDES QUATERNARY SOIL, CONGLOMERATES AND POSSIBLY LIMESTONES.
