Deposit LOCATION TO NEAREST TOWN BASED ON US ARMY GAZETTEER AND DEFENSE MAPPING AGENCY MAP ONC D-4. DISCUSSIONS OF REDUCING PRODUCTION TO ABOUT 10,000 MT SPONGE ARE OCCURRING IN 1993. THERE ARE PLANS TO RENOVATE THE PLANT AND CONSTRUCT AN ADDITIONAL PLANT TO INCREASE THE CAPACITY FROM 35,000 TPY SPONGE TO 40,000 TPA SPONGE. THE PLANT UPGRADES ILMENITE, CURRENTLY SUPPLIED FROM THE UKRAINE, TO A TITANIUM SLAG. THE PLANT MAY ALSO IMPORT FEEDSTOCK FROM NORWAY, SOUTH AFRICA, AND AUSTRALIA.
