PHASE II EXPANSION TO RAISE CAPACITY TO 480,000 MT CU (INCL. 80,000 MT CU CATHODE) TO COST $200 M WILL BE COMPLETED IN 94. PHASE III EXPANSION HAS BEEN APPROVED TO INCREASE COPPER CAP. TO 800,000 MT CU AT A COST OF $520 M TO BE COMPLETED BY MID- 1996. AT THAT TIME APPROX. 30% WOULD BE IN THE FORM OF CATHODE COPPER FROM THE AMMONIA LEACH PROCCESS.
