  • THE DEPOSIT IS IN THE ZONE OF SHALLOW-WATER MARINE FACIES SOUTH OF DZHANATAS. IT HAS A PRODUCTIVE HORIZON VARYING FROM 2-20M THICK, WITH AN AVERAGE P2O5 CONTENT OF 26- 30%. IN THE NORTHWESTERN PART OF THE DEPOSIT, THE BLACK PHOSPHORITE IS INTERBEDDED WITH LAYERS OF DOLOMITE UP TO 1 CM THICK; ELSEWHERE, THERE ARE INTERBEDS OF CONGLOMERITIC PHOSPHORITE OR PELLETAL PHOSPHORITES WITH A PHOSPHATIC MIX.
