Comments on the geologic information

  • THE MINERALIZED ZONE OCCURS IN THREE SANDY FORMATIONS WHICH WERE DEPOSITED DURING THE LATE TERTIARY- EARLY PLEIST- OCENE. THE LOWEST HEAVY MINERAL BEARING FORMATION IS A FINE SANDY BED 15M THICK, THE MIDDLE FORMATION CONSISTS OF 12M OF SANDS AND GRAVELS AND THE UPPER HEAVY MINERAL BEARING FORMATION IS ALSO 15M THICK.

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • THE RESERVES ARE STATED AS 340,000,000 MT OF 0.75% T102 OR 2,550,000 MT OF CONTAINED T102 (FIRST REF. BIB. SHEET) THE RESOURCES IN THE GLOGOVA AREA ARE SMALL ISOLATED DEPOSITS BECAUSE OF THE FOLDING OF THE STRATA. THIS MINERALIZED ZONE BETWEEN GLOGOVA AND SISETI POSIBLY COULD COVER AN AREA OF 50SQ.KM ASSUMING THE LIMENITE IS PURE, THE IN PLACE ORE GRADE WOULD BE APPROXIMATELY 1.5%. THIS COULD BE INCREASED TO 1.8% LIMENITE BE SELECTING MINING. THE SAND COULD ALSO BE EXPECTED TO CONTAIN 0.5% RUTILE AND 0.12% ZIRCON. M1C1 = M9C4.

Comments on other economic factors

  • IN VIEW OF THE ISOLATED NATURE OF THE MINABLE DEPOSITS AND RELATIVELY LOW GRADES KAISER SUGGESTS THAT A MINE TO MILL RATE OF 1000 MTPD BE USED PROBABLY ON A 2-3 SHIFT BASIS PER DAY.
  • KAISER ESTIMATES THE FOLLOWING OUTPUTS OF THE FOUR PRO- DUCTS: ILMENITE 13.5 MTPD; RUTILE 3.75 MTPD; ZIRCON 0.9MTPD; MONAZITE 0.25 MTPD (ALL NUMBERS ARE FOR CONCENTRATES).
