Comments on the workings information

  • THE ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVITY OF WATER IS CONSIDERED SIGNIFICANT, BECAUSE OF THE WATER STORAGE AND DIVERSION PROJECTS NEEDED TO SUPPLY WATER TO THE MINE, MILL, AND TOWN. THIS IS PRESENTLY PRACTICED BY THE CUAJONE MILL. THE PROPOSED TOWNSITE WILL BE DESIGNED FOR 4544 PERSONS. THE MINE WILL EMPLOY 739 PERSONS, THE MILL 250 PERSONS. THE TOWNSITE IS APPROX. 15 KM FROM THE INDUSTRIAL SITE. THE TOWN WILL HAVE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES, RECREATIONAL AND MEDICAL SERVICES.
