Deposit NCHANGA CONSOLIDATED COPPER MINES IS ENTIRELY OWNED BY THE ZAMBIAN GOVERNMENT THROUGH ITS AGENCY, MINDECO LTD. THE MINE LIES WITHIN 20 KM OF TWO RAILROADS AND 5 KM OF A NORTH-SOUTH HIGHWAY. WATER IS AVAILABLE ON SITE. ELECTRICITY IS AVAILABLE WITHIN 50 KM. THE AREA IS GRASS COVERED WITH MOST OF THE TREE COVER NOW REMOVED. THERE ARE SIX DIFFERENT OREBODIES AT THE BROKEN HILL MINE. SOME VANADINITE AND DESCLOIZITE CAN BE HANDSORTED. THE AVERAGE MINABLE GRADE IS 1.79% FOR LEAD AND ZINC AND 1.06% FOR VANADIUM. OTHER MINERALS ARE HOPEITE AND TARBUTTITE, DESCHOISITE AND MOTTRAMITE. THESE ARE DIMENSIONS OF OREBODY #1; THE DIMENSIONS OF THE OTHER 4 OREBODYS ARE- OREBODY LGTH.
