Deposit PLATEAU ELEVATION RANGES FROM 1460 TO 1680 M ABOVE SEA-LEVEL FERRUGINOUS BAUXITE DEPOSITS WITH THICKNESS OF 0.5 TO 6.3 M. MUCH OF BAUXITE OCCURS AS POROUS AND PISOLITIC FERRUGINOUS CONCRETIONS SCATTERED THROUGHOUT FINE-GRAINED FERRUGINOUS ROCK. SOME MASSIVE BAUXITE BLOCKS PRESENT MURDOCK SAYS SEVERAL TABULAR AREAS OVERLYING BASALTIC FLOWS AT AROUND 1,700 M ELEV. 25 MILES N OF BEALANANA. CODED CO-ORDINATES ARE OF A POINT 26 MILES N OF BEALANANA AND 4 MILES W OF ANDELAKALA.
