  • BEDROCK COMPOSED OF HUNT FORK SHALE. SULFIDE MINERALS OCCUR IN VEINS 1-2 CM WIDE (5-6 CM VEINS NOTED). MINERALS CONSIST OF GALENA, CHALCOPYRITE, & PYRITE W/ SPHALERITE OCCURING IN THE GALENA & PYRITE W/IN GANGUE OF QUARTZ, CALCITE, & SIDERITE. THE SULFIDES ARE ALSO WIDELY DISSEMINATED IN COARSE CONGLOMERATE & SANDSTONE OF THE KANAYUK CONGLOMERATE (C-978).
