Deposit MUFFLER, 1967, PLATE 1 (B1241-C) STAKED 1923, 1931 AND AROUND 1949. TOTAL AROUND 16 NON- CONTIGUOUS CLAIMS INTERMITTENTLY ACTIVE. INACTIVE SINCE CA. 1950. COMPOSED OF WITHERITE, BARITE & CALCITE VEINS IN KEKU VOLCANICS & CORNWALLIS LIMESTONE. SMALL AMOUNT SPHALERITE DISSEMINATED THROUGH BARITE. SPHALERITE CONTAINS TRACE OF GALLIUM. 6750 TONS INDICATED & 5000 TONS INFERRED ORE AT 75%. DETERMINED TOO SAMLL FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT BY 1949 USBM EVALUATION.
