Deposit NO ALASKA KARDEX. NO RECORD EVER CLAIMED. 1977 THE USBM MADE HELICOPTER LANDINGS AS CLOSE TO THE STOCK AS WAS PRACTICAL. NO LANDING COULD BE MADE ON ANY PART OF THE STOCK OUTCROP BECAUSE OF THE EXTREME RUGGEDNESS OF THE MOUNTAIN MASSIF; FLOAT FROM WITHIN THE STOCK AND FROM AREAS JUST OUTSIDE THE CONTACT WAS OBTAINED. THIS SITE 1/2 TO 3/4 MILE OUTSIDE THE CONTACT NEAR WHERE CU STAINS ON A VERTICAL WALL OF MICA SCHIST OR AMPHIBOLITE APPEARED PREDOMINANT. SAMPLES CONTAINED PYROXENITE, PERIDOTITE AND DUNITE. ANALYSIS IN PPM SHOWED 500 CU, 3000 CR, 2000 CO, 1.5 AG, .17 PT, & .34 PD. MOST MATERIAL PROBABLY CAME FROM A VERY HIGH AND EXCEEDINGLY ACTIVE ICE FALL TO THE NORTH, JUST OUTSIDE OF THE STOCK CONTACT.
