RECORD 040/ DEPOSIT IS ABOUT 10 MILES SOUTHEAST OF MIDDLETOW MAX. SUR. AREA DISTURBED WAS ROUGHLY MEASURED OFF A MAP BY C ET.AL. (REC. 704) RECORD 050/ E.N CAMERON ET.AL. EXAMINED AND MAPPED THE MINE. REC 060/PEG INTRUDED INTERBEDDED QTZ-MICA SCHISTS, MICA-QTZI CALC-SILICATE GNEISS, AND MARBLE OF THE BOLTON SCHIST REC 070/ MINERALOGY OF THE PEGMATITE. REC 080/ CASSITERITE IS MENTIONED AS OCCURRING IN PEG BUT IN CONCERNING ITS CHARACTER IS UNAVAILABLE. MANY GEM AND MIN SP OCCUR IN POCKETS 8-10 IN. IN DIA. IRREGULARLY DISTRIBUTED TH PEG. PEG IS AND CAVITIES ARE NOTED PARTICULARLY IN QTZ-PERTHITE ZONE SAND AND GRAVEL OVERBURDEN UP TO 10 FT THICK MIN. ZONE DIMENTIONS FROM MAP AND X-SECTIONS IN REC 701
