Comments on the production information

  • 57 PERCENT IS THE OVERALL RECOVERY (RECOVERY OF BARITE FROM MINED ORE).
  • SINCE MILL PLANT AND EQUIPMENT ARE FULLY DEPRECIATED, THE INVESTMENT COST GIVEN IN THE PB RECORD (AS WELL AS THE ONES GIVEN IN K1 AND K2) REPRESENTS WORKING CAPITAL ONLY. THE UNIT PRODUCTION COST IN THE PB RECORD IS GIVEN IN TERMS OF METRIC TONS OF WASHED BARITE. IN TERMS OF METRIC TONS OF PRE-WASHED ORE. THIS COST WOULD BE $ 1.01 "UNSPECIFIED" IN THE PB RECORD MEANS GRINDING (IN RAYMOND MILLS) AND DRYING. ALTHOUGH THE PA PRODUCT CONTAINS 4 TO 5 PERCENT MOISTURE, IT OUTPUT TONNAGE IS GIVEN IN TERMS OF DRY MATERIAL.

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • THE IN-PLACE GRADE IN THE QUANTITY MATRIX 1 WAS ESTIMATED FROM THE GRADE OF THE BENEFICIATED ORE, THE PERCENT MILL (WASHING PLANT) RECOVERY AND THE MINING AND MILLING RATES. ALL THESE DATA WERE SUPPLIED BY THE BAROID DIVISION OF N. L. INDUSTRIES, THE PROPERTY OWNING COMPANY. THE IN-PLACE TONNAGE WAS ESTIMATED FROM DATA PROVIDED BY THE PROPERTY OWNING COMPANY. PRODUCTION FROM JAN. 1982 THROUGH AUG. 1982 WAS ACCOUNTED FOR IN REPORTING THE JAN. 1982 TONNAGE. M9C4=M1C1. 1992 RESERVE GIVEN IN WELT BERGBAU DATEN, BARYTES. REIHE SERIES A VIENNE, AUSTRIA FOR FEDERAL MINISTRY FOR ECONOMIC AFFAIRS. PP. 161-168. 1994 RESERVE ESTIMATED BY SUBTRACTING AN ESTIMATED 1992 & 1993 PRODUCTION OF 700,000 MTS RESULTING IN IN APPROXIMATELY 2,000,000 MTS.
