  • PROSPECT LOCATION IS REPORTED "...BESIDE AND PARALLEL TO THE MARLIN PROSPECT" (WDMG RI 9, 1943, P. 43). CLAIM EXTENDS ACROSS LINE BETWEEN SKAGIT AND CHELAN COUNTIES, AS SHOWN ON BLM MTP. THIS RECORD IS PLOTTED IN UNSURVEYED R. 13 E., NOT IN R. 14 E., AS REPORTED IN REFERENCES.
  • NAD27 48-28-45N 121-03-40W lies in Skagit county, about 300m from the Chelan county line. Mindat.org lat/long is virtually identical 48-28-45N 121-03-39W. Mindat.org using the same reference says "A Pb claim adoining the northwest corner of the Marlin Claim." Since most information is so specific and location comment by original reporter mentions both counties, Skagit county was added and promoted to first place.
