Deposit ORE IS HAULED 8-16 KM TO TWO CRUSHERS BY RAIL. BENEFICATION INCLUDES GRINDING IN DRY AEROFALL MILK TO - 14 MESH. PRIMARY CONCENTRATION IS BY SPIRALS (REICHERT CONES). MAGNETITE IS RECOVERED FROM THE SPIRAL TAILS BY WET HIGH INTENSITY MAGNETICS. ABOUT 56 PCT OF THE CONCENTRATE IS PELLETIZED ON SITE; THE REMAINDER IS SHIPPED AS SINTER FEED. ALL PRODUCTS ARE RAILED TO SEPT-ILES ON THE ST. LAWRENCE RIVER FOR SHIPMENT TO MARKETS.
