PROPERTY ACCESS: VIA A 105-KM BRANCH LINE CONNECTING THE TRANSMONGOLIAN RAILWAY AND THE TRANS-SIBERIAN RAILWAY. RESERVE ESTIMATES: 300 MILLION TONS OF ORE AVERAGING 0.85% CU, 0.012% MO (1982); 512 MILLION TONS OF ORE AVERAGING 0.84% CU, 0.0169 MO (1991). GRADE: 0.85% TO 0.86% CU 0.012% TO 0.016% MO. CAPACITY: RATED 20 MILLION TONS/YEAR, EFFECTIVE 1989. BENEFICIATION PLANT: ERDENET CONCENTRATING WORK METHOD: AUTOGENOUS GRINDING MILLS, FLOTATION PRODUCTS: COPPER CONCENTRATE (PRIMARY); MOLYBDENUM CONCENTRATE (CO-PRODUCT).
