LOW GRADE ORE IS STOCKPILED SEPARATELY. MINE STAFF REQUESTED ASSISTANCE IN TRUCK SCHEDULING,DRILL- ING, AND BLASTING. DRILLING HAS BEEN LIMITED TO 100M. WATER TABLE AT 80M, SOME PUMPING REQUIRED. 250 DAYS/YR. OPERATION ASSUMED FOR CAPACITY ESTIMATE.

General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit THE MINE PRODUCES 2.2 MMT ORE FROM THE OPEN PIT. ORE IS CRUSHED ONSITE TO 300MM; THEN, IT IS SHIPPED TO OTHER MINES FOR BENEFICIATION. DATA AS OF 1995, FROM COMOD SPEC. 1997 SUGGEST THAT OPERATION HAS STOPPED PRODUCTION OF BARITE. THE ADIT AND COMMODITY TABLES WERE CHANGED TO REFELECT THIS.
