| Deposit | THE COMPLEX INCLUDES A COPPER SMELTER AND ELECTROLYTIC REFINERY. THE FLOTATION MILL AND OTHER METALLURGICAL PLANTS ARE 8 MILES SOUTH OF THE MINE. ALL ORE IS HAULED BY RAIL. WATER FOR MILL IS PUMPED FROM THE YELLOW RIVER AND ELECTRIC POWER IS TRANSMITTED FROM A MAJOR HYDROELECTRIC PLANT BUILT ON THE YELLOW RIVER UPSTREAM FROM THE CITY OF LANZHOU. CONSISTS OF 2 OPEN PITS; THE TU-YO PIT WITH CAP=3500 TPD AND HO YEN WITH CAP=2-3000 TPD. NO RESERVE NUMBERS KNOWN. |
