Deposit MEDIUM SIZE DEPOSIT IS LOCATED 35 KM EAST OF THE CITY OF HEFEI. PRECAMBRIAN AGE ROCKS CONTAIN BEDS FROM 2 TO 8 METERS THICK. A SMALL MINE IS PROBABLY WORKING THIS MEDIUM SIZE DEPOSIT. IN 1974, 4 MINES IN THE PROVINCE PRODUCED 80,000 TONNES.
