Comments on the reserve resource information

  • M1C2=M9C4. BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF DETAILED GEOLOGIC DATA ON THE OREBODY OR ZONE OF INTEREST, IT WAS NECESSARY TO CONSTRUCT A "MODEL" OREBODY FOR ANALYSIS OF COSTS. THE MODEL THAT REPRESENTS THE 75% PROBABILITY TONNAGE EXTENDS FOR 80 METERS ALONG DIP AND IS LOCATED AT 200 TO 300 METERS VERTICAL DEPTH. DETAILED INFORMATION WOULD DEFINE THIS MODEL FURTHER.
  • 1/89 INSITU DEMO.TONNAGE = ESTIMATE FOR 2 OREBODIES IN A 300 M X 60 M ORE ZONE AT DEPTH OF ABOUT 150-300 M VERTICAL.100 % REC.
  • FOR ANALYSIS: 27,400 MTPY ROM FOR: 12,300 MTPY LUMP PRODUCTS AND 12,300 MTPY FINES PRODUCTS (ALL AT 48.0 % CR2O3). ALL PRODS. ANALYZED AS CHROMITE MET PRODS. FOR EXPORT IN STUDY (NON-PRODUCING, NO ROOM AT KWE KWE SMELTER). PODIFORM RESOURCE.

Deposit LOCATED 1.5 KM SE OF THE TOWN OF SELUKWE. THERE HAS BEEN LITTLE IF ANY PRODUCTION FROM MAGAZINES HILL PROPERTY OVER THE YEARS. HOWEVER, IN 1981, IT WAS ANNOUNCED THAT A MINING OPERATION WOULD BE BROUGHT INTO PRODUCTION AT MAGAZINE HILL. THERE IS LITTLE INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON THE GEOLOGY OF THE PROPERTY. AS OF 1969, THERE WERE SEVERAL MINOR ORE ZONES KNOWN WITH 9 LENSES AVERAGING 6 METERS WIDE. A RECENT BORE- HOLE AS OF THAT TIME HAD INTERESECTED ORE AT A DEPTH OF ABOUT 213 METERS WHICH GRADED AS 49.58% CR2O3 WITH CR/FE RATIO OF 3.4/1.0/
