Deposit LOCATED 18 KM SW OF VILLAGE OF OMARURU, 220 KM NE OF WALVIS BAY. MINE STARTED PRODUCTION IN 1973 OR EARLY 1974 WITH MILLING CAPACITY OF 300 MT ORE/DAY AND POSSIBLE INCREASE TO 500 MT/DAY. BY YEAR END 1976 MILL STILL OPERATING AT 300 MTPD CAPACITY. FOR YEAR OF 1976: 57,816 MT ORE MILLED AT GRADE OF 0.47% WO3 TO PRODUCE 148.1 MT OF WO3 (BASED ON REPORTED 45.5% LOSS OF WO3 IN MILLING DUE TO VERY FINE WO3 PARTICLE LOSSES).
