BACKUP INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND IN THE WFOC MINERAL PROPERTY FILES. THE BLUE HEAVAN GROUP INCLUDES THE OLD "BLACK METAL MINE". U S BUR MINES STATISTICAL FILES LIST PRODUCTION FOR THE BLACK METAL IN YEARS 1941 AND 1942. SHUMWAY (1981) REPORTS LARGE PRODUCTION FROM 1880 TO 1890.
