RECORD 030, 3 PEG. AREAS ARE DESCRIBED. LOCATION IS OF THE B FARM.PEG.,AREA 2 IS 1/2 MI. E,ON W.SIDE OF ROAD. AREA 3 IS 2 OF GOSHEN ON W.SIDE OF ASHFIELD-GOSHEN RD. REC.040, GOSHEN IS 14 MI NW OF NORTHAMPTON THERE IS INSUFFICIENT DATA FOR MAX. AREA DISTURBED. AREA 3 I BOULDER FIELD OF 2-3 ACRES (REC.700) REC 050.DISTRICT WAS DISCOVERED AS A SPODUMENE SOURCE IN 182 DISTRICT WAS EXAMINED AND SAMPLED BY E.HITCHCOCK (1823), A.J (1878), SHAUB (1940,1946), AND HESS (1943) REC 060, BARRUS PEG INTRUDED INTO AN OTTRELITE SERICITE SCHI DIPS ABOUT 45 DEG E.
