Deposit THE ELVINA IS ONE OF 39 BUTTE MN DEPOSITS. A COMPLETE EVALUATION IS AVAILABLE UNDER SEQ. NO. 0300930224. THE TONN PRESENT IN THE ELVINA IS NOT USED IN THE PROPOSED DEV- ELOPMENT OF THE BUTTE MN DISTRICT BECAUSE THE ORE OCCURS IN VEINS LESS THAN 1 METER THICK WHICH IS IN- ACESSABLE BY CONVENTIONAL UNDERGROUND MINING METHODS.
