| Deposit | ESTIMATED PRODUCTION IS 300000 TONS OF ORE. THE ORE IS A MIX SOFT BROWN LIMONITE AND CRYSTALS OF MAGNETITE. REF 701 ESTIMATES RESERVES OF 6,000,000 TONS,OF WHICH 1,800, TONS ARE INDICATED AND THE BALANCE IS INFERRED. HOWEVER, REF STATES THAT 2 DIAMOND DRILL HOLES SUNK IN 1944 BY THE BUREAU MINES DISCLOSED NO EXTENSIONS OF THE ORE BODIES. |
