  • THE PRAIRIE EVAPORITE FORMATION IS GENERALLY FLAT-LYING, BUT GRADUALLY DIPS TO THE SOUTH. IN THE NORTH, THE FORMATION IS APPROX 3500 FT. DEEP AND IN THE SOUTH IT IS APPROX. 5000 FT. DEEP.
  • MOST OF THE CANADIAN POTASH IS LOCATED IN THE PRAIRIE EVAPORITE FORMATION, LOCATED IN THE SOUTHERN THIRD OF SASKATCHEWAN. HOWEVER, MCCAULY IS LOCATED IN MANITOBA. ALSO, THERE ARE TWO DEVELOPING MINES IN NEW BRUNSWICK CALLED SALT SPRINGS AND SUSSEX.
