Deposit THE RESOURCES SHOWN INCLUDE THE EL ENCINO(1:1), AQUILA(1:2), AND SAN PASQUAL(1:3). THE EL ENCINO DEPOSIT IS SUPPOSED TO BE MINED OUT BY 1985, SO OPERATIONAL DATA IS BASED ON THE AQUILA DEPOSIT, WHICH IS PROJECTED TO LAST THROUGH 1994. THE CURRENT PLAN IS TO TRANSFER THE OPERARION TO THE SAN PASQUAL IN 1995. THE EL ENCINO MINE TRANSPORTED THE CRUSHED ORE BY A 22KM TRAM TO ALZADA FOR MAGNETIC BENEFICIATION AND PELLETI- -ZING. A MILL IS PROJECTED FOR THE AQUILA DEPOSIT, AND A 91KM SLURRY LINE WILL TRANSPORT THE CONCENTRATES TO ALZADA. THE MILL WILL BE MAGNETIC AND WILL PROBABLY BE USED FOR THE SAN PASQUAL DEPOSIT AS WELL, WITH THE POSSIBLE ADDITION OF A HEAVY MEDIA CIRCUIT. PELLETS FROM ALZADA ARE CURRENTLY RAILED TO BOTH MONTERREY(1270KM) AND PUEBLO(1250KM). FOR THE PURPOSE OF AVAILIBILITY ANALYSIS, CAPITAL COSTS TO DEVELOP THE AQUILA DEPOSIT ARE ESTIMATED AT ABOUT $50 MILLION(1981 US$) FOR MINE DEVELOPMENT AND MILL CONSTRUC- -TION. AN ESTIMATED $91 MILLION WOULD BE REQUIRED FOR PIPELINE CONSTRUCTION AND INFRASTRUCTURE COSTS. AN AD- -DITIONAL $20 MILLION IN CAPITAL COST IS ESTIMATED TO DEVE- -LOP THE SAN PASQUAL DEPOSIT.
