  • WMC HAS FARMED INTO A PROPERTY NEAR TIMMONS IN ONTARIO WHICH IS BELIEVED TO INCLUDE THE REDSTONE MINE. THE MINE WAS BROUGHT ON LINE IN 1989 AND HAS BEEN CLOSED. *(4/93) BHP MINERALS HAD 49% OF THE MINE BUT SOLD OUT MORE THAN 2 YEARS AGO.

  • MINING JOURNAL 2/10/89 PG 104 PROVEN RESERVE OF 410,000 @ 2.9 NICKEL & BYPROD COMMODITIES. RESOURCE NOT STATED, BUT PROBABLY MUCH LARGER.
  • RECOVERABLE COBALT, BUT NO GRADE DATA AVAIL. MINE IS LOCATED NEAR TIMMINS, ONTARIO. SHERRITT IS PURCHASING CONCENTRATE. IN 1989, PRODUCTION DROPPED TO 680 MT DUE TO LOW NI PRICES.
