General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit ASIKOY AND BAKIBABA ARE TWO SEPARATE MINING OPERATIONS. ASIKOY IS A SURFACE/UNDERGROUND OPERATION AND BAKIBABA IS UNDERGROUND OPERATION. THEY WERE COMBINED FOR DATA BASE CONVINANCE AND SIMPLICITY. BOTH PRODUCE COPPER AND SULFUR AS CO/BY-PRODUCTS. ASIKOY; SEPARATE COPPER AND PYRITE CONCENTRATES. BAKIBABA; THE COPPER ORE IS SENT TO THE SMELTER DIRECTLY FROM THE MINE AFTER CRUSHING AND GRINDING THE SMELTER PRODUCES CEMENT COPPER AND SULFURIC ACID. FOOTNOTES ARE LIFT TO INDICATE WHICH DATA BASE ENTRY IS FOR WHICH OPERATION.
