Deposit THERE ARE THREE ORE BODIES MINED BY THIS DIVISION. THEY ARE SEPARATED BY DISTANCES UP TO 5 KM. ALL MINERALIZATION IS WITHIN THE SAME HORIZON. THE MINES ARE EXTREMELY WET WITH A PUMPING RATE OF 75 MILLION GALLONS/DAY(1970)-INSTALLED PUMPING CAPACITY FOR 1972 WAS TO BE 600,000 CU M/DAY. THE I SET COSTS ARE BROKEN DOWN FUTHER AS FOLLOWS: MINING $19.88 FOR THE I-SET THE GENERAL COST WAS SPLIT MILLING 3.94 1/2 AND ADDED TO MINE AND MILL. THE GENERAL 3.90 REFING COST WAS ADDED TO SMELTING FOR SMELTER 10.51 GENERAL SMELT/REFINE CUSTOM CHARGE. REFINING 2.20 $40.43 THERE ARE 2 PRODUCTION SHAFTS(#1-SOUTH OREBODY AND #3-NORTH OREBODY. GEOMETRY, LITHOLOGY, AND MINERALS DATA COVER BOTH Q-MATRICES A COBALT RICH ZONE WAS FOUND IN THE NO.1 SHAFT IN 1978/1979 BETWEEN THE 2200 AND 2400 LEVELS BUT GRADES AND OTHER DATA ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF THIS STUDY. THEREFORE, ECONOMICS OF THIS ZONE ARE NOT ADDRESED IN THIS STUDDY. FOR THIS STUDY IT HAS BEEN ASSUMED THAT A NEW MILL WILL BE BUILT WHEN NO.2 OREBODY OPENS (2631-2634).
