Deposit ORE MOSTLY MAGNETIC ITABIRITE, FINE GRAINED, THINLY LAMINATED. MAJOR STRUCTURE APPEARS TO BE A MONOCLINAL LENSE, ITABIRITE FORMS CLIFFS 30-60 M HIGH FEAS. STUDY WAS TO BE STARTED IN OCT. 1974. PLANNED CAPACITY OF 7,256,000 MTPY PELLETS. ITABIRITE OCCURS ALONG 16 KM NE-SW STRIKE OF JIDE MTN., CO-ORDINATES ARE OF APPROX. CENTER OF STRIKE, ABOUT 7 KM NW OF PELOKENN TOWN, 120 KM NE OF GREENVILLE.
