STREAM AND BENCH PLACER ON BEDROCK OF CALCAREOUS SCHIST AND LIMESTONE CONTAINING QTZ AND CALCITE VEINS WITH SULFIDES AND VISIBLE AU: VEINS PROBABLE SOURCE OF GOLD. MAJOR PRODUCER IN COUNCIL DISTRICT. MOST PRODUCTION ON CREEK IN SOLOMON QUAD. REFERENCE POINT AT CONFLUENCE OF CROOKED AND OPHIR CREEKS.
