Deposit INFORMATION SOURCE: DMEA REPORT, DOCKET NO. 3355 AND URANIUM CE EVALUATION QUESTIONAIRE. THE GROUP IS LOCATED IN THE PARA MINING DISTRICT. OWNER ADDRESS: UNION CARBIDE CORPORATION P.O. BOX 1049 GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO 81501 FROM 1954-1955 THE MINE PRODUCED 200 TONS PER YEAR IN AN AVE 315 DAYS OF PRODUCTION PER YEAR. FROM 1956 TO 1970 THE MINE D AN AVERAGE OF 120 TONS OF ORE PER MONTH IN AN AVERAGE OF 2 OF PRODUCTION PER YEAR. AT THIS TIME THE AVERAGE GRADE OF UR WAS .15% AND OF VANADIUM WAS 1.3%. PRODUCTION DATA FROM 1954 TO 1970 AVAILABLE IN BACK UP FILE.
