Deposit MILS MINES I.D. (MSHA.DBF #) 1001574 IS PROBOBLY FOR THE COMPANY LISTED AS, MERIDIAN GOLD COMPANY, ON MSHA.DBF. MILS RES_ID # IS 1070133, COULD NOT FIND THIS # IN MSHA.DBF. DEVELOPMENT DECISION EXPECTED EARLY 1989. MINE CAPACITY WILL BE IN TH 50,000 TO 100,000 OZ AU/YR RANGE. MINING BEGAN IN 11-94 AND REACHED FULL-SCALE PRODUCTION 7-95. 12-95, THE MINE HAD APPROXIMATELY 4.7 MILLION TONS OF ORE CONTAINING NEARLY 113,000 OZ OF GOLD UNDER LEACH. THE MINE IS A HEAP LEACH OPERATION CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 800,000 OZ OF PROVEN+PROBABLE GOLD RESERVES.
