Comments on the production information

  • IT IS ASSUMED HERE THAT ALL THE ORES OF DIFFERENT SPECIFIC GRAVITY IS FINALLY REDUCED AT THE DUNPHY MILL TO A SINGLE PRODUCT - GROUND MUD GRADE BARITE, SPECIFIC GRAVITY 4.2T. IN ACTUALITY, DEPENDING ON MARKET DEMAND AND ECONOMICS, ANY ONE OR COMBINATION OF FIVE PRODUCTS WILL BE PRODUCED; HIGH-GRADE DIRECT SHIPPED ORE, HIGH-GRADE/FIND GROUND, LOW-GRADE JIGGED/SHIPPED, LOW-GRADE JIGGED/FINE GROUND, AND/OR LOW-GRADE FLOATED/FINE GROUND. OPERATING COSTS IN DOLLARS PER TONNE ORE MINED FOR THE ABOVE PRODUCTS ARE AS FOLLOWS: (DUNPHY PLANT PROCESS COST) A) HIGH-GRADE DIRECT SHIPPED = $ 2.77 B) HIGH-GRADE, FINE GROUND = $13.53 C) LOW-GRADE JIGGED, SHIPPED = $ 1.04 D) LOW-GRADE JIGGED, FINE GROUND = $ 6.94 E) LOW-GRADE FLOATED, FINE GROUND= $19.61
