Comments on the location information

  • Original NAD27 lat/long N-48-45-26, W-120-41-45 (48.7572, -120.6958) plots just inside the Whatcom boundary, 140 m from the Okanogan county boundary, the stated political location. UTM coords and the PLSS location agree with this location. The reference will be difficult to check. Recalculating the lat/long as WGS84 datum instead of NAD27 moved the lat/long to Okanogan county. UTM was cleared, PLSS still agrees.
